Tissa’s Market and Café was the beginning. Our mission was to introduce a culture and cuisine that has inspired so many other cultures and cuisines throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. In Morocco’s ever-changing landscape and geographical situation are riches that rival France.  From the indigenous Berber Culture, to the Arabs that invaded Morocco in 683, the Empire known as the Andaluz, to the most recent colonization of Morocco by France ending in the 1950’s; all have left a foot print on the cuisine of Morocco ultimately creating what we like to call the “World’s comfort food.”
